Commissions

Beverley has been studying farm animals for five years, she is now enthusiastic and interested to take on more commissions to paint herds of cattle.

She says," I deeply respect our rural culture and enjoy the challenge of painting farm subjects and working on a large scale with these oil paintings as artists did in the past. Their pictures have become valuable heirlooms and treasured historic recordings of our proud farming history. I'd like my work to be alongside them for future generations to appreciate."

If you wish to commission Beverley, she will visit the farm on several occasions as is convenient, and take time to discuss with the commissioner their ideas alongside her own. She will make sketched life studies and take photos. After that she takes a few weeks to assimilate the material and she will loosely draw up a selection of proposals, a following studio visit and she will show them and welcome suggestions.

Poplars Farm, oil on canvas, measures aprox 6ft. x 3 ft.

The oil painting will be produced over a period of approximately 3 months, and as it progresses the commissioner may visit her by appointment to see the work in progress. Previous commissioners have been delighted with her unique style and the finished art works.

It is wise to book her well ahead if possible, due to pressure of work. Prices range from four thousand pounds upwards according to complexity and scale, but smaller pieces are considered. One third of this fee is payable in advance. Travel and transport expenses are an extra cost added to the price of the art work.

Although commissions based in England are preferred ones in other countries are happily considered.

Please contact Beverley for more details. The images above are some of her latest commissions.
