About Beverley Fry

Beverley Fry

Her work was accepted by the Royal Academy & she has paintings in the collection of the Duchess of Kent. Beverley opened her own successful studio gallery Fry on the Wall in 1998.

Beverley is a versatile artist who works in a variety of ways, using oils, mixed media & specialises in watercolour. Her subject matter is varied and she works with ease on both large and small scale.

Amongst her public art work is a very large laminated watercolour of a garden commissioned by the League of Friends at the New Community Hospital in Cannock, Staffordshire. It hangs in the main entrance of the hospital.

"Poppies are becoming a trade mark for me, with the commission from National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, work featured in the Daily Telegraph".

Expressive flower oils were recently shown with Artspace at Barn Galleries Henly on Thames.

Poppy Cow and Lily Cow, life size fibre glass cows decorated for Cow Parade have been shown in Manchester.

A large oil painting of Poppies was selected by Lord Lloyd Webber and an Art panel to be part of the Daily Mail's, Not the Turner Prize Competition and exhibited in London's Mall Gallery during 2004.
